Friend instructions

Click on one of the referrer's links above to sign up as a customer to Glasses Direct. You can also enter their name when you’re buying from us – there is a link just above the voucher code box at the checkout page saying ‘Been referred by a friend?’ If you click on any of these links, you will be able to access a discount code. You can then enter this code in the discount code box at the basket page as you’re buying.

Payment details

Glasses Direct will email you as soon as any rewards are due but it is also possible to see the status of your referrals. They work with a partner called Mention Me to deliver the refer-a-friend scheme and you can login to their site on their refer a friend scheme page to see the status of your referrals.

Any other conditions?

Your friend must place their order before you can receive your offer code. Once they have done so, your offer code will be sent to you via email. If you haven’t received your reward, please make sure to check your spam or junk folder first. If you’re aware your friend has ordered but you still haven’t received your referral offer/reward, please contact our customer service team who will be able to look into this for you.

When contacting our customer service team, please provide your own details as well as the name of the friend you referred.

Is there a limit on referrals?

There is a limit of 5x£10 Amazon gift certificates per person per 24 hours, and a further maximum limit of 50 per twelve month period.

Do I have to be a customer to make referrals?

No you don't. Anyone can sign up to refer others.
