Referrer instructions
Log in to your SSE account and get your referral link. Post the link on ReferMeHappy.
Friend instructions
Click on one of the referrer's links above to sign up as a customer to SSE.
Payment details
The reward varies depending on what you refer to a friend- whether it is energy (£60 to share); broadband and phone (£70 to share), or smart meters (£30 to share). The cash reward will be split 50/50 between you and your friend. You'll get your money around 120 days following successful referral, but it can take up to six months to be paid.
Any other conditions?
The friend must use the pass. Cashback is only available for products and tariffs listed in the Refer a Friend portal. Unlisted products and tariffs will not be eligible for cashback. This includes but is not limited to: Energy Standard Variable Tariff.

Do I have to be a customer to make referrals?
No you don't. Anyone can sign up to refer others.
